RIVERS EDGE BOERBOELS

Cooper is the first male pup that we've held back from one of our own litters and what a great decision that was! I wish that I could say that he was picked because we could see that he was going to grow into the gorgeous young male that he is but that wouldn't exactly be true! While we could see that he was different and we thought he had a lot of potential, he was picked due to his unique ability to literally give you hugs :) something he did from just a few weeks old. Sometimes you pick the pup and sometimes the pup picks you!
Cooper is now an AKC Champion, was the Best of Winners at the 2025 Boerboel National and received his Farm Dog Certificate. He loves meeting new people and has an amazing temperament. He does well with other dogs but he is a male boerboel and will not take very kindly of being stared down by another male. Cooper in our opinion is the perfect size male, 28" tall and 180lbs. With friends and family he still thinks he is a baby and would much rather be in your lap than anywhere else and that's fine with us!
